Mission

Self image, choice, boundaries, and awareness are the building blocks to living the life you want. Increasing awareness about the things that aren't working. Recognizing the things we have control over and what your choices are. Building a positive self image and accepting your whole self, flaws and all. Setting and maintaining healthy boundaries, being aware of where you end and others begin. It is within all of us to create the life we are meant to live even when things get really hard. I work to teach you skills to make life better with empathy, warmth, and compassion. I am not the expert of your life, you are. 


Coaching is similar to therapy in that you build a relationship with the client to understand how best to help them with their relationships.

Together we create a plan to address the issues and concerns around unhelpful coping contributed to by Codependency.

Codependency is not a diagnosis in the DSM V. This is the Diagnostic and Statistical Manuel of Mental Health Disorders 5th edition. Consequently, it is not always addressed in traditional therapy. Although I have a degrees in psychology and counseling as well as a background in mental health, I can treat clients as a coach to help you create healthy boundaries and build communication skills for the relationships you are in today.


What my clients have been able to achieve

  • Create boundaries with family and others while maintaining positive relationships.

  • Build healthy communication skills with people in our lives; partner, children, within marriages, and families.

  • Manage anger by recognizing underlying emotions and using more assertive ways to communicate. 

  • Learn how to increase their self-awareness, reduce negative self-talk and detach from outcomes.

 

Virtual coaching sessions are available for clients outside of the Albuquerque area.
